With all the stress and the worries about the
success of the shop, we're already happy to know that we're making a difference
in these kids' lives. These little groms are always visiting the X Shop and we
have fun hangin' out with them.
"I remember always hangin' out at the
Wavejammer Surf Shop in Toms River back in the day on a daily basis because of
skatin'. It was a good feeling to feel like you belong somewhere especially
since that was a time when people had a negative outlook on skateboarding, "
said Ricardo.
It's also great to know that their parents
actually like them being at the shop instead of being somewhere else. We have
been very fortunate with the support from everyone.
The summer crowd will soon be coming to the shore
and we'll let you know our progress throughout the summer. We've only been
getting popular through word of mouth from our customers and friends. Please
keep it up! The more customers that come in and purchase our gear, the more we
will be able to provide better events and prizes for our fans.
It's only our first summer here in Seaside
Heights, so naturally we get the butterflies about the influx of people that's
about to hit us! Depending on how busy it gets, we might have to hire more
people to work at the X Shop throughout the summer! So, if you're interested in
working at the shop...we recommend you pass by!
Once the High School kids get out of
school...Seaside Heights becomes a very busy town. We are really counting on all
our fans and friends to help us succeed so keep spreading the word!
